Each year, Miss La Crescent and her court attend between 40 and 50 events throughout the year. Their year starts with their crowning at the Applefest Coronation. Following the Coronation, the new royalty will reign over the King Apple Parade and the closing Applefest events.

Following Applefest weekend, the royalty attends events throughout the upper Midwest. The first official event for Miss La Crescent and her court is the annual Oktoberfest celebration in La Crosse, WI. During the winter, Miss La Crescent will travel to the St Paul Winter Carnival to spend four days with other royalty from the state of Minnesota. In February, the royalty, along with its Board of Directors, attends the Festival Du Voyageur celebration in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.

May is when it really starts to heat up, in both the weather and royalty appearances. With parades as far east as Sparta and Westby, as far north as Winona and Hopkins, as far south as Caledonia, and as far west as Lanesboro, Miss La Crescent and her court will attend approximately 20 parades from May through August.

The Applefest royalty will wrap up its reign by attending Applefest pre-fest and fest weekend events.
