We used the front 9 holes to determine the championship or 1st flight category. We used the score from the back nine to determine the position in the flight itself. Applefest has always flighted based on one set of nine holes and then within that flight, ranked using the other nine holes, rather than the entire 18 holes.
Each year, La Crescent Applefest holds its 18 hole, 4-person Golf Scramble Tournament on the Saturday before Applefest weekend. This year it will be held at Valley High Golf Course. Teams can be co-ed and all ages are welcome. Pre-registration and prepayment are necessary as the tournament is limited to the first 36 teams. Sign up begins each year on August 1st.
$200/Team (Includes 18 holes of golf, cart, button, and lunch)
